Editor's Note: This is a wonderful Luxury Hawaiiana hotel on the beach with ancient fish ponds and an incomparable outdoor tropical spa .  And it has the Mauna Lani South and the Mauna Lani North golf courses which are among my favorite Hawaii courses.  This is special. Hint: The Standard rooms are more spacious than some of the higher rated categories and they have the better price.
